DEWA SANZAN SHRINE

This shrine enshrines the gods of the area's famous triad of peaks: Gassan, Haguro, and Yudono - collectively known as the Three Dewa Mountains (Dewa Sanzan). The shrine's thatched roof is one of Japan's largest, and its pond is also an object of veneration.

JIONJI TEMPLE
